Additionally, messages will be displayed on screen indicating that Serana is guarded at the start, and the player needs to either spend more time with her or talk with her more to get her to open up. Serana will no longer comment negatively about the Companions if you've told her you want to cure the Circle of their lycanthropy. - Serana is now recognized by the vanilla game as a "lover" after she elopes with the player (Relationship Rank 4), - She should no longer greet you while you're in a conversation with another NPC, - Backend changes for the first confession quest, that Serana's dialogue would play out fully and not be interrupted, - More backend improvements to make future development more organized, - Fixed sound static with faulty audio files (Thanks to GuerillaTech for finding the faulty files! Included in this mod: Dialogue which will appear to change Serana's attributes making her marriable. I want to be sure the player hears what she has to say. Queen of the Damned now suggested to be run alongside SDA, to compliment the spell buffs by SDA to make her an even more competent sorcerer. - Added missing voice lines for final romance quest. - Added in an option to equip Serana's default outfit again in the Serana Outfit Menu. Instead of just disabling dialogue, the dialogue added by those mods now still plays, but only during the Dawnguard quests (as to enrich Laura Bailey's voice pool but not creating a jarring experience for the user outside of those quests). Upon initiating a short conversation with her (available during the Moth Priest hunt at the earliest) Serana will give you a spell that allows you to summon her from just about anywhere! Well, after installing (as of this writing) 237 mods (including SDA) and never having gone through the Dawnguard questline at all in any of my many test playthroughs, I look forward to seeing what all this mod has in store. So if she gets lost, or you just need her in a jiffy- Serana can pop right to your location (though, she does get a bit nauseus when teleporting (similar to Geralt from The Witcher games) so do be careful! Improvements to overall commentary code. Travel out of Solstheim and go back to Skyrim. She will react positively to alcohol, flowers, and high value items- but negatively to the rest. You can now ask Serana to sleep in any bed that is player-owned/unowned, considering there's one nearby. Now there's a voiced conversation behind it, and an in-game reason why it's in place. - Patch release. Bethesda meant only the player to attend the party, no one else. - Serana now comments on radiant intercourse after it happens. Sometimes Serana will become fixated in a particular direction and continue to face that direction despite the player turning. Over 14 radiant conversations that can occur anytime you explore with Remiel and Serana. - Location Awareness for the Ragged Flagon, Entering your home for the very first time (unique responses for each of the 3 homes), Each of the homes via her radiant dialogue, The area around the properties before you build the house, - You can tell Serana to hang around here when you dismiss her. The music also may have been a bit melodramatic, and maybe a bit unfitting of the game's natural music environment. - Script fixes for some Serana wait stuff, like whenever she's called to wait when the Dawnguard questline tells her not to. 3. - Added a follow-up line to College of Winterhold commentary. Some good stuff- primarily the fact that you're now able to romance Serana. - Added in delays for radiant love greets/dialogue/commentary. So telling her to be quiet should now actually do that, and not make her talk more instead. This is to maximize compatibility and ensure the vanilla cure quest proceeds as usual. PLEASE heed this advice as if you don't, you might run into some weird and annoying wonkiness. - The player gets a bonus perk for completing these talks, so there's both an incentive for it, RP, and game wise! - Implementation of the DDAF (Dynamic Dialogue Animation Framework) || It is now implemented in the College of Winterhold, Whats on Your Mind, and "Can I Talk to you for a bit?" This should add more padding and depth to what already was a pretty natural and organic romance. - "How does it feel to be a vampire line" no longer occurs if the player is a vampire too. Now when the player lockpicks a container, Serana will occasionally comment on it. - It is important to note that these quests are optional, and do have different outcomes. Tweaked some of Serana's forcegreet packages (mostly in Serana Romance), for her to run faster towards the player and for them to trigger and longer distances. (However, due to how wonky vanilla radiant pathfinding is, I suggest you save before doing this; if Serana's AI messes up, you can reload the save and try again, or just pick a different option). - The FG/OStim check is now made on each player game load, making SDA now able to detect if either of these animation frameworks were installed on an existing SDA save. The script fires off when you've talked to her again right after your second rendezvous (Prophet Quest), - Added SDA_Friendship condition to Serana radiant hobbies dialogue as well as radiant humming, - Reduced probability of sneezes and yawns. - Two new songs, one is a Serana-rendition of the Age of Aggression/Oppression vanilla song, and another is an original composed by Kerstyn! Commentary on the Cyrodillic Brandy found in Fort Frostmouth (it's Serana's favorite drink). - Changed the existing conditions for existing dialogue to make more sense. || The SDA and RDO patches have been overhauled to reflect this too. This also prevents dialogue from being tabbed out like before- the dialogue should be more continuous now. - Tweaked injured dialogue to have it occur more frequently, - Serana should no longer repeat her angry dialogue after Ustengrav, should the player have chosen the angry choice as well, - Serana should no longer comment on the Ancestor Glade if she's never been there yet. - During Drinking Buddies, Serana should now only comment on Solstheim if you've been there. If there are mods that do this too, do not use them with SDA- you will break Serana's brain! - If the player does push through with the entire Serana romance quest, they will be rewarded with a special skill ability. - Disabled two Laura Bailey combat lines that were already revoiced. - Added in random idle yawns for Serana. Serana had issues sleeping just in that one inn (even though it had a double bed), because of the Ghost of Old Hroldan quest and how it edited the double-bed ref for its functionality. This was done since a lot of players go there early in Dawnguard - where the relationship mechanic (and its succeeding dialogue) may not have been unlocked yet. As an NPC, Serana is more intelligent and has many new follower features. - More subtitle fixes, especially for some font characters which may sometimes display as square boxes, - Serana or other NPCs which have banter with her won't initiate their scenes when the player is currently in dialogue (Requires SKSE). Now Serana should never be lost again! - Added Serana tracking marker and teleport spell toggles (through Serana Menu). - Reworked Serana's map marker feature. Martimius ported the overhaul to Xbox in June, and updated it on both platforms. - Main Quest commentary completely redone with more immersive and extensive dialogue for each stage of it. Full Quest Commentary from "Dragonborn" to "At The Summit of Apocrypha". This should now fix the issue with some of her goodbyes not being able to play. The patch has been completely redone (new records and new patch name), so just to be on the safe side you should start a new game with it/a game that hasn't had a Crimson Blood patch installed. - Second Half of Companions Quest Commentary (starting from after "The Silver Hand"). - Addition of 1st Serana banter framework. For the Dark Brotherhood, Serana will also comment if you chose to destroy them. - For this new "Trust" conversation, to set up it's context properly and avoid melodrama, multiple messageboxes have been added to each of the Serana Romance conversations. This is to prevent narrative whiplash; like how Serana could comment on your romance when the Archmage just died. - Serana's SDA leveled spells (like Oakflesh) should now start appearing correctly, and scale properly as Serana and the player level. - House of Horrors commentary || Same as the above "Silver Hand" advice. Same with the trading dialogue, there are now more responses when she is being asked to wait somewhere. - Added "What's On Your Mind" conversation for Ram Horn Witch to Drinking Buddies, - Papyrus Script Optimizations to reduce Papyrus Log errors, - (Beta to full release) Added in three missing voice lines.
